"Welcome to my blog!
I’m coming off a really tough week in Zürich. I’m really excited to have reached the final, obviously. Justine is so tough; she keeps you from playing your best, and so she’s really tough to beat. The more experience I can get against players of her level the better. I’m just relieved it’s over because I’ve been playing so much the last four or five weeks. Now I can rest a little before starting in Linz…
One thing I’m really happy about this fall is that I’ve been keeping very healthy. I missed quite a few tournaments this year because of my ankle (I’ve had a few accidents with it before), but I’m so much fitter than I was before and it’s paying off. I’m preparing better, recovering better and playing better. I’m just really happy how things are going these days.
So after the final and all of my post-match press I got a massage on my shoulder and then we left the tournament pretty late last night. We went out for dinner and later on boarded the train…
I’m so tired of taking planes. For most of the year we need them to travel, but when I’m in Europe I like to have a bit of a change. I love the train. I’m travelling with some of my family and my physio, and we had a really nice time. From Zürich to Linz you go through the mountains, and you know it because your ears start popping
I’m not sure what cities or countries the train passed through exactly, but sometimes I don’t really pay too much attention to the things around me. At the trophy ceremony in Zürich I said I enjoyed being in Stuttgart…
Anyway, we got to Linz at like 7am today and had breakfast, then I took a nap. We all went into the city for a little bit and did some shopping this afternoon - it’s very cold here so I got some hats, some furry ones, so those should work! I’m not doing a lot tonight - we’ll probably just watch something here, maybe some Prison Break… I need to catch up on my sleep tonight. I usually sleep at least 10 hours a night, and I only got about six hours last night. I like my sleep!
I’m looking forward to playing here in Linz. I’m on a good path right now and I just want to keep going. I feel confident and I’m playing well. That doesn’t mean I’ll be winning all the time, but I would love to finish this season well.
I’m also looking forward to this, my first blog!
Talk to you all tomorrow…
Tatiana"

T’as raison Methos, soyons chauvain
