Some alarming news were published in l’Equipe today : Tatiana still suffers from her back…
Here is a translation of what Tatiana has said to l’Equipe after her withdrawal from Wimbledon :
" It would be very stupid to ruin everything by wanting to play at all costs. My 2008 season is rotten, but I hope that at 21 years old I will be able to get back quickly. I still suffer from my back. I can’t play in those conditions. It has been 6 months since this inflammation hurts me. I’m going to go to the USA and I hope to be able to train for the US summer tournaments before the Olympic Games. For now, I am still taking "anti-inflammatories" but as there is still no progress, I will maybe have to undergo an "infiltration" (I don’t know the medical term in English sorry…). I won’t have to be operated again, this inflammation just needs to cease… "
Courage Tati !
